The calculators, tables and guides give estimates for planning. They are not tax, legal, investment or financial advice, and they do not take your full circumstances into account. Your employer's payroll, your tax return, a lender's decision or a professional's advice can differ from any figure here. Before you make an important decision, check it with the IRS, your state tax agency, your employer, your lender or a qualified professional.

We are not a lender or broker and do not offer loans, quotes or referrals. Mortgage rates shown are published national averages, for illustration only, and affordability figures are rules of thumb, not a decision about whether anyone would lend to you.

SalaryHome is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Internal Revenue Service, the Treasury, any state or local tax agency, or any other part of government. We cite their publications as sources.
Accuracy
We work hard to keep every rule current and every figure right, and the tests behind them are published. Even so, tax rules change and mistakes happen, so the site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
